What is Long-arm Quilting ?

Longarm quilting involves the use of a special sewing machine head on a special table. They work together to make machine quilting easy. The table holds the layers together (like a stretcher) and has a special track that the sewing head fits on. The track enables the head to move in all directions, which gives the machine the impression of 'floating' across the surface of the quilt. We selected the Gammill brand of quilting machines because of its durability & ease of use.

Is the quilting machine computerized?

Yes, we recently upgraded to a Gammill / Statler Stitcher longarm quilting machine. We have hundreds of different designs to suit almost any quilt. And, there are thousands more to choose from, so if we don’t own the design you need, we can buy it (usually within hours) or digitize it (this may take a couple days). Either way, the Gammill / Statler Stitcher produces perfect results. Our new machine can still be used for free-motion work (just like the Gammill Classic Plus and Optimum Plus that we had before).
